Clients come to coaching feeling like the days pass by and they don’t have a sense of where the time went. The weeks roll through, one after the other, and nothing seems to shift. They are in disbelief that it’s the close of another year and they seem no closer to achieving their goals or understanding their purpose. They want awareness.

Awareness is not something you seek. It is already here.

It is shaping your experience. It is the filter through which life flows to create your day to day experience.

Have you ever wondered how two people can walk away from a conversation and have two different interpretations? You have different filters.

Or why the same patterns continue to repeat, even when your circumstances change? Your circumstances have changed, but your filter has not shifted.

Your awareness is creating that filter, whether you are conscious of it or not.

Your life changes when you two things happen:

  1. You gain consciousness of the filter you apply to your life. You understand your awareness.

  2. You actively choose to set an intention for your awareness. You focus.

Coaching elevates your conscious recognition of your awareness and creates the foundation to set intentional focus.

This week, ask yourself periodically, “what am I focussed on?” Is that where you want to be focussed? If not, change your focus.
